A lightweight collared shirt
This awesome shirt by thesnugglery.net. The collar on this shirt sold me, its so perfect to throw on in the summer over a tank top. The collar to this shirt looks like a skill that might take a little time to understand but you’ll be so proud of yourself after its done.
This moonlit bra
This is an amazing foundation to shirt making!
This is an amazing pattern by Hanna C. If you are interested in garment making please make this bra top. This top pattern is very similar to the foundation I’ve used for so many shirts. Its such a great foundation to add a bottom of whatever you want to it. I don’t think I could truly make a “perfect summer crochet patterns” list without having such an amazing skills base as this one is to it.
Day Date Hexagon Cardigan by Make and Do Crew
Her way of making these hexagons is different than anything I’ve seen in another pattern. You will love the YouTube video that goes along with this pattern. It makes cardigan making a whole lot easier. For that reason, I think a beginner could do this as their first big project. Although it’s not super summery I think its lightweight enough to have on this list. I’ll be wearing it all summer for those nights where its slightly chilly, sitting by a campfire. Or to have on hand for going inside the store or restaurant where it’s a little colder. Its worth making, even in the summer.
I’m in the middle of making this cardigan right now and it’s been an absolute delight. Hexagons were already one of my favorite things to make (also in the middle of a long, hexagon blanket.) Highly suggesting trying this pattern out!
These Crochet shorts by Knitcroaddict.com

Peggy Cardigan in Wool and the Gang Shiny Happy Cotton By Wool and the Gang

In fact, I actually started my search for some perfect summer crochet patterns on this website. I like that most of the time the users on the website have links to even more patterns to choose from. The library of pattern resources is endless really.
